Over the decades, our unique packaging techniques, the materials used and our delivery methods have evolved to ensure that:

• Your plants will not dry out in transit
• Your plants will not be broken or damaged in transit
• Your plants will not overheat in transit
• Everything is recyclable
• All the plants will unpack as fresh as the day that they were lifted from the nursery.

How are my plants prevented from drying out?

When your plants have been lifted (dug up) from the nursery bed, they are immediately covered by polythene for the journey back to the packing shed. Once inside the packing shed, plants of a like size are bundled togeather and the roots wrapped in polythene, along with a quantity of moss (which is able to hold many times its own weight in water).
